Andrew Saunderson is an editor and filmmaker from Seattle, Washington.

He is the editor of the Academy-Award nominated short documentaries The Barber of Little Rock (2024) and Joe’s Violin (2017). His recent work includes Men of War (2024), produced by NEON and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival as well as Creede U.S.A. (2025) which is set to premiere at SXSW.

He was an editor on the documentary series The Me You Can't See (2021) (AppleTV+/RadicalMedia) executive produced by Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry. He was also the co-editor with Armando Croda of the feature documentary The Antidote (2020).

His directing work includes Birthday Boy, executive produced by the late Jean-Marc Vallée (Big Little Lies, Sharp Objects) and distributed by HBO. His short Summer Lightning premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival and was distributed on Amazon Prime Video. He’s also directed multiple projects for CAA and brands including Bud Light, Amazon, AT&T, Lyft, T-Mobile, and Universal Music.
